Starting with product design and development and including everything from compliance to raw material and factory sourcing, manufacturing control, logistics, and more, we offer end-to-end services for all stakeholders in the B2B and consumer goods industry.
The Tripal Group has been immersed in product design, supply, and manufacture for nearly 30 years, starting in safety footwear and progressing to casual footwear, clothing, and personal protective equipment.
We have our in-house design team who have extensive knowledge of multiple markets and product areas with a specialism in footwear, PPE equipment, consumer goods, and clothing. They work closely with the technical department to ensure all relevant certification and safety requirements are met within every product they source and supply. In conjunction with the client’s brief, an initial concept is pencil sketched offering various options which the following consultation leads to industry-standard CAD images for sign-off before moving to sampling stage. Backed by a strong process, knowledge and application expertise, the Tripal Group can help customers in a wide range of production processes.
TECHNICAL
Our technical department exists to provide our customers with peace of mind and reassurance in handling all technical aspects of product sourcing. Safety standards are forever evolving and it’s critical to remain up to date with the latest developments as they happen and react accordingly. All Tripal supplied products are fully compliant with the relevant standards. Our team work tirelessly with our customers and suppliers to specify and monitor manufacturing methods and materials that meet the exacting demands of the appropriate brief. We also have key contacts with UKAS accredited laboratories as well as our site testing facility for selected sector-specific products.
The Tripal Group’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced technical team has representation on the CEN/TC161 European Standards Committee with active involvement in setting EN ISO and UKCA standards. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that we are always fully informed of and compliant with the most up-to-date safety standards.

Before we start any project, it is essential for us to understand your business and what you are looking for in your brand. This enables us to give you the very best guidance and get the project underway. Once final specifications are agreed the design process can begin.

Our in-house design team have extensive knowledge of multiple products and in conjunction with your brief, they will produce an initial pencil sketch offering various design options.
From here and by working closely with you, a more finished design is drafted utilising industry-standard software which can show various views of the product.
Once this stage has been reached any minor alterations can be made quickly in order to produce a final design to meet your requirements.
